Typical or Normal Cornea
A near spherical cornea (central
corneal curvature or K-reading near
spherical) will show a gradual
increase in radius from the center
towards the periphery. Some
corneas change more in the
periphery than others. The rate of
change can be different in different
meridians of the same cornea. The
"average" cornea has an e-value of
about 0.4.
